Productivity Enhancement Setting for CX-Programmer

Valin's engineers, most with more than 20 years of experience working with Omron products, suggest the settings below to make CX-Programmer easier to use and more productive. Customers may choose to try other option settings to enhance their experience with CX-Programmer, but these options will help you get started.

STEP 1: Select "Tools/Options" from the CX-Programmer menu

STEP 2: On the "Diagrams" tab, uncheck "Show in simple dialog mode"

STEP 3: Click on the "PLCs" tab and uncheck "Confirm all operations affecting the PLC

STEP 4: Click on the "Ladder Information" tab. Select the options circled in red below. Note: Under "Lines", the more lines you add here, the more comment information will be visible.

STEP 5: Click "OK" when done

STEP 6: In the tool buttons, find this button and click it so that it is selected as shown below.
