Phastite Push-Fit Tube Connectors

Welcome to another Product Focus from Parker Instrumentation Products Division. Today's product focus is on the Parker Fastite Push-Fit Tube Connectors, a non-welded solution for small board tubing. Fastite uses a permanent compression fitting process which offers an extremely quick easy and simple way of permanently connecting tubing. Fastite is a breakthrough in tube connection systems, its innovative design concept eliminates the costly requirement of welding and combines quick installation with a single assembly process achieving a tube connector that can be used in applications up to 22,500 psi and temperature ranges of -50°F to 200°F. Developed in a range of standard and corrosion resistant alloys to cope with the most demanding environments from subsea exploration in the North Sea to natural gas drilling in Kazakhstan, Fastite meets all the relevant performance and functional requirements of industry standards.

Throughout the development of Fastite product performance and integrity were paramount. A rigorous testing program including thermal cycling shock and vibration, helium leak gas tight and hydrostatic testing has been completed. Parker is proud to announce that Fastite has achieved technology Readiness level 7 demonstrating its reliability with over three years of successful operation in several subsea tree installations and intervention and workover control systems in the Gulf of Mexico, Brazil, and Italy. In conclusion the Fastite Push-Fit Tube Connector is a groundbreaking substitute for all welding techniques including orbital wells with the use of a hydraulic tool this permanent connector without ferals may be quickly installed. Simplifying the process of assembly and inspection it also removes the need for hot work permits, cooling periods, non-destructive testing, and welding expenses, resulting in safer and more effective operations.
