- Hi, I’m Chris Ridgway with Swivellink, and this is Dale Booth. I cover the Americas, and Dale handles our international markets. We’re excited to start sharing these videos, which will be raw, live, and hopefully a little entertaining—not too boring!
- Today, we’re going to give you a rundown of our mounting line and explore the different options available. To start, we have three sizes: the XS series, the standard series, and the heavy-duty series. Our blue components represent our Imperial line, while the grey components are metric, so you have both Imperial and metric options.
- I’m going to hand it over to Dale, who will build up a single arm and demonstrate how quick and easy it is.
- Building a Swivellink Arm
- The first part you always start with is the base—this is what gets mounted to your table, extrusion, machine, or wherever you need it. Next, you add the knuckle, followed by the link, which comes in various sizes. Finally, you attach the end plate. As you can see here, we’ve mounted a smart vision light.
- If you visit the Brand Match section on our website, you’ll find a wide range of plate options. You can search by brand or type in the series number to find exactly what you need.
- New Components
- Now, let’s look at some of the new components we’ve developed. The first is our redesigned base, perfect for mounting on extrusions or in tight spaces where you need to save room. Next is our telescoping link, which extends from 6 inches to 10 inches, giving you 4 inches of adjustability.
- Finally, we have our new sensor bracket, designed to work with proximity sensors or other types. It features holes on the underside and back, allowing for 360-degree rotation and additional adjustments with the bracket itself.
- Key Features of Swivellink
- One of the standout features of Swivellink is cable management. You can run cables directly through all the parts, keeping everything clean and organized. Plus, our components are robust—if Dale ever got mad and swung at me, missed, and hit the component, it would still be protected!
- The biggest advantage of Swivellink is its flexibility. Positioning lighting, cameras, or other devices exactly where you need them can be challenging, but Swivellink provides the solutions to get the job done right.
