Introducing CRS, a new robot from IAI with 6 degrees of freedom combining 3 cartesian and 3 rotational axes. The CRS combines 3 orthogonal axes and 3 rotational axes, which enables a high degree of freedom of movement including rotation and turning.
CRS Cartesian Type 6-Axis Robot Features
- Operations with a high degree of freedom are possible including rotation and turning.
- Many variations and combinations are available.
- An optimal stroke size can be selected for each of X, Y, and Z axes.
- Battery-less absolute encoders are equipped standard.
CRS Cartesian Type 6-Axis Robot Applications
- Loading and unloading gears for cleaning and external inspection.
- Loading and unloading gears from the washing station.
- External inspection.
- Filling the pallet.
Various configurations are available
10 types of configuration patterns have been set. You can select the configuration direction that suits the transport weight, moving stroke, and installation space.
Stroke can be selected for each X-axis, Y-axis, and Z-axis
The optimum size can be selected since the stroke can be set for each type. The price increase due to the stroke length is kept relatively low.
Simulation software
Even if you do not have the 6-axis cartesian robot, you can check the robot movement using the PC dedicated teaching software (version V14,00,01,00 or later) for XSEL. In addition, this software can also calculate the cycle time.
