The check valves of the TRI-CHECK series are based on the same 3-fold eccentric geometry as the butterfly valves of the TRI-CON series. Friction-free opening and closing of the flap minimizes natural wear.
The technical principle of sealing by means of a fin seal on a floating, self-centering pane also makes it possible to guarantee the requirements for 100 percent tightness.
The check valve is equipped with a drop weight and a hydraulic damper, which can be individually adapted and adjusted to the necessary process characteristics and installation positions. The use of a hydraulic damping system minimizes the risk of pressure surges caused by closing the check valve in the line too quickly.
In addition, the damper serves to protect the flap and increase the service life by reducing the fall speed of the disc when closing shortly before contact with the seat and gently bringing the sealing elements together.
