The IDEM Viper SCR-i Safety Relays with enhanced diagnostics are built to meet the latest safety standards and feature simplified wiring and improved LED diagnostics.
This product line adheres to EN60204-1 guidelines for safety circuits and can be utilized with mechanical interlock guard switches, emergency stop switches, non-contact guard switches, or safety light curtains to achieve redundant monitoring and fault checking up to PLe/Cat4 ISO13849-1.
The SCR-i range employs dual-channel circuitry to monitor safety contacts for opening and closing, as well as short circuits, and can be configured to verify the correct opening of external machine contactors/relays.
The relays are ideal for monitoring safety interlock switches (such as guard door monitoring), emergency stop devices, and sensors. Additionally, they offer time-controlled delay options for applications that require a delay after opening the guard switch, with adjustable time delay output contacts available (ranging from 0 to 30 seconds).
