Valin® Appointed Exclusive Distributor For AMETEK Tubing and Heat Exchangers
Sunnyvale, CA February 13, 2012 – Valin® Corporation, a distributor of process control and automation products and services, has announced its appointment as the exclusive Western United States distributor of AMETEK Chemical Products. The addition of AMETEK fluoropolymer tubing and heat exchangers will serve our customers, who manage high-purity and highly corrosive applications. 
“AMETEK fluoropolymer products have been used in process applications for more than 30 years. They are more durable and more corrosion resistant than most metals,” said Dan McNeil, Valin® Business Development Manager. “This product addition will no doubt improve the fluid handling processes our customers manage.”
AMETEK Chemical Products specializes in developing and manufacturing highly corrosion-resistant products constructed from fluoropolymer resins that are designed primarily for ultra high-purity applications requiring very low levels of metal and other ion extractability. “We operate in market segments with demanding applications where high-purity and corrosion resistance are critical,” said Jim Visnic, Vice President and General Manager of AMETEK Chemical Products. “We are pleased to have formed an alliance with Valin® as they have served these markets for nearly 40 years and have a deep understanding of high-purity processes.
