MPI Series: Hydrogen - Medium Pressure, Double Ferrule Compression Fitting

Welcome to another product highlight from Parker Instrumentation Products Division. MPI series tube connection for hydrogen applications sealing hydrogen the smallest molecule is tough but designing a connection that offers easy assembly and remake ability is even tougher. Parker instrumentation is proud to offer our MPI series line of fittings and valves that now make assembly and remakes remarkably easy for your hydrogen projects. The MPI connection is a compression type connection suitable for liquids and gases up to 15,000 PSI or 1,034 bar and temperatures from-423°F to over 1,000°F or -253°C to over 538°C. Hydrogen requires high integrity fluid handling system components and Parker has a complete package of fitting and valve products designed specifically to move, store, contain, or transport hydrogen while withstanding the high price presses required for refueling, as well as the vibration that is part of any moving vehicle. The two ferals grip and seal on the tubing to maintain constant pressure on the front feral even with significant vibration just fingertight then one and one half turns with a wrench to seal. Those two simple steps are all that is needed for a connection capable of sealing the smallest molecule. Our MPI needle check and ball valve products have been optimized for increased cycle life when used with hydrogen or other small molecular gases. And all use the MPI compression Connections in sizes from 1/4 to 1 in tube. While there are a variety of tube fitting and valve options that may be applicable to hydrogen systems very few can meet the demanding requirements of sealing and controlling hydrogen. MPI Valves and fittings meet those requirements.
