Hello everyone, I'm Tom Trinh, Senior Application Engineer for Valin Corporation.
Today I will illustrate how to wire the Autonics temperature and humidity sensor all in one, part number, the model is THD-WD1-C.
So what you see here is the sensor here with the display. Right now it's showing 24.4 Celsius and it shows 69.4% humidity. And there are four wires coming out of this. The brown wire needs to be wired to +24 Volt, the blue wire needs to wire to the 0 Volt and you got two wires. The black wire is for the temperature and I have a meter here and right now it's 24.4° and that equates to 11.3 milliamp. OK. If I switch it to the white wire, which is the current output signal for the humidity, and if I put my meter here between the white and the blue wire, I got 13.3 mA. OK, so I'm going to introduce some humidity by blowing some air into it right now. OK, You see the reading is going up and let me see what we have here on the meter. OK, so we have 14.9 mA and it's decreasing because the humidity is decreasing now. OK, so that's how it works. This is the again Autonics THD-WD1-C and this is for temperature and humidity sensor from Autonics.
