Q & A

TXS Switchbox Q & A

+What is the TXS Switchbox designed for?
The TXS is a stainless steel valve monitoring switchbox built for corrosive and hygienic environments. It provides electrical and visual valve position indication. The enclosure protects sensing components from chemical exposure. It ensures long-term durability in harsh installations. Stainless construction enhances lifecycle performance.
+Why is stainless steel beneficial in switchbox design?
Stainless steel resists corrosion, salt spray, and aggressive washdowns. It prevents structural degradation in marine and chemical plants. Hygienic industries also benefit from non-rusting surfaces. The material supports sanitation compliance. This makes it ideal for critical process environments.
+What sensing devices can be installed?
Mechanical limit switches or proximity sensors can be configured. Non-contact sensing improves reliability in corrosive environments. Mechanical switches provide cost-effective signaling. Multiple sensor combinations are supported. This ensures flexible valve monitoring solutions.
+What industries benefit most from TXS installations?
Offshore oil platforms, wastewater facilities, chemical plants, and food processing operations commonly use TXS switchboxes. These environments require corrosion resistance and washdown durability. The switchbox supports actuator automation in these sectors. It ensures reliable valve feedback.
+What indication features are included?
A visual dome indicator displays the valve open and closed position locally. Electrical outputs transmit the same status to control systems. This dual indication improves operator awareness. It also enhances safety verification. The design supports both manual and automated monitoring.
