Static Seal from Parker

Static seals provide the sealing function in all applications in which no movement of the sealing element versus the sealing surface relative to one another occurs. Parker's offering of sealing solutions for static applications is among the industry's broadest. They are manufactured to metric and imperial international standards, are available in custom sizes, and employ compounds formulated to meet the most stringent industry-standard and customer-specific requirements.

Custom D-Rings Parker's custom D-Rings offer an effective alternative to traditional sealing in radial seal applications, including static, reciprocating, or oscillating applications. The unique cross-section design of the D-Ring prevents twisting of the sealing element in the groove under dynamic movements or pressure variations. Parker´s custom D-rings include high-performance polymer D-rings for fluid power applications and low-drag D-rings for applications requiring low friction.

Custom Gaskets Parker offers custom gaskets for a range of applications serving the general industrial markets, as well as the aerospace and automotive sectors. We manufacture specialized press-in-place seals, governor gaskets, high temperature tadpole tape gaskets and flame-resistant coated cloth gaskets, as well as multi-purpose sealing and caulking gaskets.

Custom S-Seals Parker S-seals are manufactured from a variety of materials that feature high-temperature, high-pressure elastomers with integrated over-molded spring backup systems. Our dual action custom S-seals are designed with over-molded anti-extrusion springs. S-Seals are mainly used in Oil and Gas applications.

Gaskets Parker offers a variety of standard off-the-shelf gaskets that are used in virtually all markets: food, beverage and water; life sciences and medical; mobile and transportation; oil & gas; power generation and renewable energy; aerospace; chemical processing and handling; factory automation; and semiconductor and electronics. Parker's gaskets are available in a wide variety of conductive and non-conductive materials, from standard and specially-formulated elastomers and polymers, to metals. They are manufactured using a variety of methods including molded, press in place, lathe cut, and extruded and spliced, and are tested to meet applicable international standards.

Head Seals Head seals are static sealing elements in cylinder designs which provide sealing functionality between the cylinder gland and the cylinder tube.
