David Rosales

David Rosales is the Warehouse Operations Manager located in the San Jose, CA office. He was recognized as Valin's 2021 Employee of the Year for his exceptional job in his role in organizing the distribution operations at Valin. He supervises the Valin warehouse facilities and teams in California, Arizona, Utah, and Texas. David ensures he communicates all expectations clearly and frequently to the team. His efforts have shown to be effective in daily, weekly, and monthly goals.

David is more knowledgeable than most as to the flow and operations within a warehouse. He knows and understands the fine points of each warehouse, P21, and Latitude programs. When there is a situation needing clarification that relates to Latitude or P21, David is always the first one to respond with help. When a customer must be contacted, he is typically already working on it before others are aware. When someone in the team does not understand something, David takes the time to patiently walk through the steps until the solution is understood. On many occasions, he uses a visual aid to help provide a better understanding and will assist until completion.

David traveled to the Valin office in Austin and worked closely with employees on how to use the Latitude Warehouse Management System (WMS). David spent three weeks there ensuring that employees were fully trained, inventory and locations were correct, and that shipments were being processed. He then traveled from Austin to Houston to work with the team on transitioning the panel shop. David organized the materials, completed inventories, packaged, and shipped supplies. He also coordinated the logistics of moving the panel shop to the Valin Chandler facility.

During this time, David continued to manage all Valin warehouses. He tracked, purchased materials, and managed data from one of Valin’s prominent customer’s portal. He verified the data, created, and sent out a report each week to Valin management, the customer, Valin Engineering Services, and the materials team.

While performing his management tasks, he assists the purchasing team by supporting procurement in areas that require his leadership. David is the ultimate team player and always has an exceptional can-do attitude. He works closely with each team to resolve issues. He is always available and responds quickly to help lead and provide direction.
