Cory Calderon is truly a team player as he often goes well beyond his job description. He has dedicated much of his time to help develop the new hire training program in Santa Ana. As a non-manager, this is not expected of Cory. He has selflessly devoted hours of his time to help the first group of sales graduates to further their development and training. He has spent at least four hours a day, five days a week mentoring and answering questions. Cory has introduced each new graduate to existing Valin customers in order for a smooth transition between account managers. Cory has done all of this while maintaining his own accounts, catching up on work and projects after normal working hours and enrolled in the Texas A & M Masters of Industrial Distribution program. His efforts are noticeable and his co-workers appreciate that he shares his time and talents. He is mentoring by example and showing that hard work pays off.
