Blake Hernandez

Blake Hernandez is a Materials Driver and Customer Service Representative based in the Santa Ana, CA office. He primarily focuses on overseeing the Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) program for Southern California oil refineries. Blake visits the refineries at least three times each week to deliver products, take bin stock counts, and meet with the inventory owners to assess any upcoming or current needs. He also assists the account managers with any inventory related sales activities at the refineries.

Due to urgent and unforeseen circumstances, Valin faced an immediate need for someone to handle coverage of the Northern California managed inventory programs. Without hesitation, Blake stepped up to fill the gaps and ensure the seamless operation of VMI activities in both Northern and Southern California. This entailed almost weekly trips to Northern California to manage the inventory programs at each of Valin’s refinery customers in the Bay Area. He demonstrated remarkable adaptability by quickly learning the intricate processes required to manage each customer's unique needs. Blake’s willingness to take on this responsibility highlights his extraordinary dedication to our customers and the organization.

Blake also assists the Livermore warehouse in helping to ensure the timely delivery of essential fittings, filters, and tubing to our valued customers. His diligence, attention to detail, and ability to graciously handle high-pressure situations have significantly contributed to Valin’s success and customer satisfaction. Blake is the epitome of a team player at Valin. His actions to better facilitate and foster relationships with our customers are appreciated.
