ERV Series Obsolescence
Discontinuation Date: January 2019Parker’s Electromechanical and Drives Division makes every effort to ensure our products exceed our customers’ expectations. To do so, we occasionally must change/improve some aspect of our product offering. This sales bulletin describes the obsolescence of the ERV belt-driven actuator series.
Availability
Due to an inability to source certain critical components and an overall business decision, the ERV series will no longer be able to be manufactured by Parker Hannifin and is immediately obsoleted. New orders will no longerbe accepted. Maintenance and repairs on existing ERV units will be handled on case by case basis depending on whether necessary components can be sourced. Parker can still offer solutions for applications using the ERV series prior. Customers who require performance characteristics similar to the ERV series should refer to the OSPE series of belt-driven actuators as an alternative for their application. In addition, customers can utilize Parker’s sizing and selection tool, Virtual Engineer, to select the necessary actuator for their application. Parker’s application and engineering teams are also available to help develop a cost-effective solution for your application.
