Tera Gaulke

Tera Gaulke is a customer service representative for fluid handling in the Chandler, AZ office. She has been with Valin since 2017 and has grown exponentially. She consistently contributes with support and assistance when help is needed.

Tera is the main contact for gauge and gauge assembly requests. After the recent retirement of a technical support specialist known as a gauge expert in the Portland office, Tera became the point person for all things gauge related. She had big shoes to fill and quickly learned about how gauge assemblies work and how they integrate into Valin systems. She uses her growing knowledge of gauge manufacturer products and consistently communicates with gauge suppliers to build and maintain working relationships.

Tera took the lead and managed the existing gauge orders from the Jensen Instrument acquisition. All requests had to be input into P21 with several orders having at least one hundred lines. She spent hours making sure all orders were entered accurately. Not only were there orders to enter, but there were assemblies that needed to be entered into the system as well. Tera created a process that crossed over assembly terms from the Jensen Instrument orders to terms recognized in P21 and thus could be entered into the system correctly without errors.

Tera also collaborates closely with Valin buyers and purchasing to ensure correct information is relayed to suppliers and helps with invoicing. She supports the refinery sales team by providing inside sales backup and aiding account managers with urgent requests.

She is one of the top performers within the Fluid Handling CRM queue and helps her peers with credits and RMA’s. Tera is amazing at what she does and has grown as a person and a teammate in the last 5 years.
