Alfonso Castillo

Alfonso Castillo’s efforts were outstanding and crucial when the Valin operations and warehouse transitioned from San Jose, CA to the new Chandler, AZ location in July 2019. Alfonso voluntarily traveled to Chandler to help with warehouse operations in the new facility, living in a hotel for over a month away from his family.

Alfonso set up the Arizona warehouse facility and operations. He trained the new warehouse personnel in the P21 and Latitude warehouse systems. This included the use of RF handheld readers, transfers, and receiving functions. He also educated the new staff on the UPS and Fed Ex shipping systems. He worked many long hours in heat and humidity to ensure the transition was successful.

As a result of Alfonso’s dedication, Valin shipped all available orders for July. The transition would not have been a success without Alfonso’s leadership and commitment to Valin and his team.
