Customer Service Supervisor

Christy Gonzales joined the customer service team dedicated to one of Valin’s priority semiconductor customers almost two years ago when a peer moved to a new role within the organization. From day one, Christy brought a level of professionalism and positivity that energized both the team and its customers. She began by taking over the customer’s consignment program, gradually adding responsibilities to her belt, including managing several high-profile and demanding remote factories that supported the customer. Despite dealing with challenging customers, she maintained a cheerful disposition, often going above and beyond to support her customers.
Christy embraces modern technologies and desires to grow her skills. One example is the early adoption of the RPA (Robotic Process Automation) order entry bot software where she successfully on-boarded numerous customers, eliminating manual entry of orders and reducing human error in the process. Additionally, she identified a need for reporting that would highlight when parts were removed from the consignment program, shielding Valin from getting stuck with unwanted inventory.
A new opportunity arose when an employee announced their retirement. Christy was eager to expand her knowledge once again and quickly accepted the challenge and embraced a new key account. Christy proactively created a vast repertoire of training materials for her replacement to ensure a smooth transition. She accomplished this by using a new software program called Scribe. It recorded her various tasks and transcribed them into work instructions. Christy has been a valuable asset to the semiconductor customer service team and will continue to flourish in her new role.
