Allison has demonstrated exceptional leadership and dedication over the past year while taking on the management of Valin’s purchasing team. In addition to handling her existing responsibilities, she has trained four new team members, reassessed and restructured workloads, implemented new reports and metrics, and begun managing purchasing and expedite duties for Valin’s largest supplier. She has also actively invested in her professional development by completing the 3-month NAW (National Association of Wholesales-Distributors) Managers Training certification, attending regular leadership training sessions, participating in the Worldwide Users Group (WWUG), and visiting a newly acquired location to support her expanding team.
Despite the demanding workload, Allison consistently maintains a positive attitude and a collaborative spirit, always looking for ways to support those around her. Allison’s commitment, initiative, and team-first mentality have made a significant impact on the success and improvement of the purchasing team and the broader organization.
