EOS4

The EOS4 line from ReeR Safety provides versatile protection with configurations designed for finger, hand, and body detection, featuring resolutions from 14 to 90 mm. Certified to safety levels up to PL e and SIL 3, these Type 4 light curtains ensure robust operator safety across various industrial applications.

Key Features:

• Detection and Range: Covers a protected height up to 2.2 meters with an operating range of up to 20 meters.
• Cascade Connection: Allows the connection of two or three light curtains without optical interference, with combinations of different resolutions and protected heights. A 50-meter cable can link Master and Slave units for extended installations.
• No Blind Area on One Side: Minimal blind area on the connector side, allowing for full coverage until the curtain edge. L-mounted models maintain 40 mm hand detection resolution around corners.

Special Versions:

• WTF and WTHF Models: IP69K-rated enclosures for harsh environments, including Ecolab certification for use in food and beverage industries with frequent washdowns.

Admiral

The Admiral Type 4 Safety Light Curtains provide high-level protection for demanding industrial environments, combining advanced safety features with easy installation using M12 connectors and standard cables. These models include self-monitoring circuits and select models (Admiral X) offer advanced functions such as External Device Monitoring (EDM) and Start/Restart interlock, ensuring dependable, versatile safety for high-risk applications.

Key Features:

• Blanking Options: Admiral AX BK models include Floating Blanking, allowing select beams to be obstructed without triggering a stop, ideal for applications where material or parts may cross the light curtain field. Multiple blanking configurations (A1, A2, A3, B1, B2) provide flexible settings based on the number and pattern of blocked beams, with or without compulsory object presence.
• Cascading Function: Master/Slave models enable the series connection of two light curtains, offering combined detection for hand and body presence, or multi-side protection. Only a single pair of safety outputs is needed, and connections are easily managed with M12 connectors, supporting complex setups without interference.
• Dual Beam System: In long-range Admiral models, the Dual Beam System is ideal for outdoor or harsh environments. This system minimizes sensitivity to small objects, reducing interruptions from elements like birds, leaves, or inclement weather

Safegate
