Pipelines transport natural gas, gasoline, and crude oil from where it's produced to where it can ultimately be used in our local communities. They supply the necessary fuel to keep our country moving, both physically and economically. The U.S. has the largest network of pipelines in the world. As energy demand is on the rise, more transmission, gathering and distribution lines will need to be constructed or updated. The new petrochemical facilities and liquefied natural gas terminals being planned today would be impossible without a steady and reliable supply of feedstocks provided by pipeline infrastructure.
