Obsolescence of ZETA6000 Stepper Drive/Controllers

Parker Hannifin, EM&D is discontinuing the sale of ZETA6000 effective June 30th. This notice impacts all ZETA6000 controller variants but not the ZETA drive only products.

The following part numbers will be discontinued:
ZETA6104
ZETA6108
ZETA6104-57-XXXXX
ZETA6104-83-XXXXX
All custom products based on the above products, such as: CP*ZETA6104-xxxxx
CP*ZETA6108-xxxxx CP*ZETA6007

Availability
The ZETA6000 family of stepper drive/controllers have been on the market since 1995 and has many older components that are obsolete or difficult to procure. Over the last several years Parker has made efforts to extend the life of the products thru stocking of obsolete components and design changes. There are several components where this approach is no longer possible.

Orders will be accepted until June 30th, 2018. Shipments can be scheduled thru December 2018. Repairs will be supported for three to five years.

Suggested Replacements
A direct replacement for the ZETA6000 Stepper drive/controllers is not available. Please contact Valin to discuss a recommended replacement path. In many applications, a servo solution could be a good fit and, in addition to cost savings, also offer the following advantages:

Higher speeds
Higher efficiency
Closed-loop accuracy
Reduced audible noise
