Discontinuance & Last Time Buy Notice –AC890PX Series Modular Drives

Discontinuation Date: December 2019

Parker Electromechanical Automation makes every effort to ensure our products exceed our customers’ expectations. To do so, we occasionally must change our product offering to reflect market requirements.

With the feature rich AC30V, P & D series at ratings to 600HP Heavy Duty, we have our newest updated solution overlapping the AC890PX, AC690+ and AC890SD offering. The AC30 is a more cost-effective solution, includes Ethernet IP, LINKNet and STO as standard and requires significantly less panel space than AC690+ & AC890SD frames G, H & J units of equal rating. In consideration of this and based on market feedback, the we are notifying our customers of a last time buy notice for the 890PX line.Parker will accept orders through June 2020 with shipments through December 2020. Effective February 1, 2020 all new units will be quoted as special orders.

Customers with installed base of AC890PX drives can rest assured that parts and support will remain available for an extended period. Production of major replaceable components for the AC890PX will continue. This includes but is not limited to: the 890CM (control module), CS (DC supply modules) CP (capacitor modules) CD (phase modules) as well as repair capabilities for these components.A separate 890PX substitution / replacement guide as an aide to the selection of other drives for use in new applications and / or replacements of existing AC890PX units will be available on our website FAQ forum.
