Thomas “Tommy” Cristobal is the Customer Service Manager for Automation and was critical while a Customer Service Representative (CSR) was out on maternity leave. He regularly worked on weekends processing quotes and orders on Sundays. He never once complained, just subtly kept working to get things done.

As Valin reorganizes its Customer Service teams to better fit our business, Tommy is a key person in the process. He makes sure Customer Service Representatives are trained on unfamiliar product lines. When a CSR from the Automation group left, he worked diligently to make sure Valin’s customers did not become affected even though the absence caused him to work endless hours outside of normal business hours for almost 3 months. All the while he continued to train and drive the adoption of CRM throughout the CS team. Tommy is thorough, pays close attention to detail, and can solve just about any problem that is thrown his way. Most importantly, Tommy has maintained his ability to support team members by providing guidance and coaching.

Tommy exceeds the expectations of his position. His dedication to the Automation team is incomparable. He makes sure Valin’s customers receive answers in a timely fashion and that CRM is up to date. Tommy’s attention and willingness to assist the Automation team and all customer service initiatives speak volumes of his work ethic and character.
