Employee Pillar – contribute to the improvement of group morale and productivity
At a Mobile Technology Vehicle (MTV) training session early in 2014 for the Northwest offices, a number of sensitive issues and concerns were raised with regard to the overall MTV strategy relating to Valin’s business model and support given to the Northwest territory. Dawni interjected and brought a sense of order and calm to the group of 15-20 people. She offered constructive criticism and offered herself to help refine the MTV content in future iterations. She had just been assigned to the marketing role within Valin at the time.

In 2014-2015 Dawni participated in a number of joint meetings for MTV development. She managed the difficult task of gathering source images, models and reference documents to aide in developing content for 2015. During this year, she actively managed all sponsorship requests, MTV schedules, participation rosters, and customer registrations.

This year Dawni has been instrumental in coordinating joint meetings with Marketing, Sales, and the MTV Software Developers. She has committed herself above and beyond her existing job responsibilities and made time to assist in developing more content for the MTV’s Automation Interactive screens. Individuals like Dawni make managing challenging projects and tasks possible. She has a positive attitude, offers a different perspective and remembers to use resources that may have been overlooked. Because of her, initiatives such as the MTV have become more sustainable organizationally through her active participation and collaboration with multiple business groups within Valin.

Her commitment to Valin reflects the best attributes of the Employee-Pillar of which comprises “Team Valin.”
