Improving Production Efficiency the EASY Way

Lean Manufacturing is the art of improving production efficiency. It typically involves many small changes that all combined will give much better results. But, can a company improve production efficiency just by measuring it? Parker Electromechanical has found the answer to be "yes" by one of their customers using the Parker Factory Display (PFD):

While visiting the plant and viewing their installations, I had the opportunity to discuss how things are going with one of their plant engineers, Bob. Bob pointed to a line and said "that's the first line we deployed these units on, it was one of our worst performing lines in the facility."

"What's really been exciting to management is: Since deploying your displays and presenting the line's efficiency in a large visible format the line has improved to be one of our most efficient."

With high visibility, great graphics and the ability to be viewed and edited from anywhere in the world, the PFD offers unprecedented flexibility and impact for delivering critical messages to associates on the factory floor.
