The ROBO Gripper first grabs an assembly part; then the ROBO Cylinder linear actuator moves the part under the inspection camera. The ROBO Rotary rotates the part so that the top-mounted camera can inspect all sides of the part.

 

If the assembly part is good, then it is dropped into the OK bin; if the part is not acceptable, it is discarded into the 'No Good' (NG) bin.

 

Since the assembly part dimensions can vary, there are fewer adjustments to make with ROBO Cylinders than with old air cylinder equipment, providing for increased productivity.
